When I first started this project, I sent an invitation out to a group of cartoonist friends asking them to create their own one-page comic based on a short text description of the EiS scenario. A bunch of artists sent in their work during that first year or so when they hadn't even seen my own version yet. Since then, more of those original invitees have graciously turned in pages and additionally I started receiving unsolicited comics from people who came across EiS at its old location at Indy Magazine. Many of these comics have never been seen as Indy went off-line several years ago now. It is with pleasure and gratitude that I offer you this gallery of guest Exercises in Style.
